The zone is for a mix of uses in the city's central business area (s. 11.1.1).
C1 itself lists no cannabis retail, liquor store, pub or small brewery or distillery: the C1c variant adds cannabis retail, the C1l variant the liquor uses (s. 11.1.2).
Nothing is used outdoors except farmers markets, vehicle sales and rental, restaurants and pub patios (at most 20 people), plant nurseries, minor service stations, utilities, parking and loading, with outdoor storage screened (s. 11.1.6).
Short-term rental of a home isn't a listed use; ask the City.
Sections 4 (general rules), 5 (specific uses), 6 (landscaping and screening), 7 (parking and loading) and 8 (development permit guidelines) also apply. Uses the bylaw doesn't list aren't allowed (s. 1.6.7).
