Setbacks

Bare land strata: front and rear 6 m, sides 1.5 m (4.5 m beside a road), accessory buildings 1 m from rear and sides. Fee simple lots: front 7.5 m, rear 6 m, sides 4.5 m (6 m beside a road)

Secondary suite (s. 1.18): one, inside the house only, at most 49% of its floor space, on approved sewage disposal and never strata-titled.

A main building needs both a community water system and a community sewer system.

Site-specific exceptions listed in the bylaw by legal description can add or change uses for one property, and development permit areas, the ALR and building rules apply on top. Confirm with the RDEK's planning department before you buy or build.
