Homes allowed
No house: one employee dwelling unit a lot as an accessory use, for an owner, employee, manager, watchperson or caretaker who lives and works on the lot, at most 120 m² with one kitchen and one wet bar (ss. 8.3.2(42), 8.3.3(1), 8.3.5(10), (11); s. 3 definition)
Main uses
Low, medium and high impact industry, a sawmill, a recycling depot and plant, a solid waste facility, a bulk fuel storage depot, an automotive wrecking yard, light and heavy automotive repair, light and heavy equipment sales, rental and repair, light and heavy vehicle sales and rental, modular and manufactured home sales, a contractors yard, outdoor storage, warehousing, wholesale, a distribution centre, mini storage, a cannabis production facility, a brewery, cidery, distillery, meadery or winery, auctions, a carwash, a nursery, major utilities, major and minor animal clinics, a kennel, dog day care, a café, offices, personal and professional services, a fitness centre, indoor recreation, public assembly; accessory buildings and uses and an employee dwelling unit (s. 8.3.2)

The zone is for general industry and manufacturing, indoors and out, with more outdoor storage than the light impact zone; its uses bring noise, dust, vibration and odours (s. 8.3.1).

High impact industry, automotive repair, a sawmill and a solid waste facility stay at least 100 m from the boundary of a lot with a child care facility (s. 8.3.5(4), (14), (24), (25)).

Outdoor storage is screened by a solid 2.0 m fence (not chain link) or a landscaped berm, and for auctions, automotive repair, contractors yards and equipment sales kept out of the front setback (s. 8.3.5(2), (3), (9), (12), (18)). A carwash needs a lot of at least 930 m² (s. 8.3.5(8)).

No parking in a setback next to a residential lot (s. 11.6(2)); parking (Section 11), loading (Section 12) and landscaping (s. 4.10) apply (s. 8.3.5).

Short-term rental isn't a use the zone lists (s. 8.3.2); ask the City of Revelstoke.
