Each row house is at least 60 m² (net) and each apartment at least 40 m². Accessory buildings up to 55 m² (gross).

Multi-unit buildings need one RV-sized parking space for every 8 spaces (s. 4.8).

Secondary dwelling units and home businesses aren't listed uses in this zone.

Vacation rental isn't a listed use in this zone: ask the CSRD before renting short term.

Floodplain (ss. 3.5 and 3.6): no buildings within 15 m of Shuswap Lake's mean annual high water mark (348.3 m) or of another watercourse; floors used for living or for goods floodwater could damage sit above 351 m on the lake and 1.5 m above other watercourses. Garages, small additions, docks and accessory buildings with no living space are exempt from parts of this, and the CSRD asks for a surveyor's certificate.

Nothing closer than 4.5 m to a provincial highway right of way without a Ministry of Transportation permit (s. 3.2(l)).

Site-specific exceptions listed in the bylaw by legal description can add or change uses for one property, and development permit areas, the ALR and building rules apply on top. Confirm with the CSRD's planning department before you buy or build.
