What the zone allows

- 930 m², 18.0 m wide (s. 11.2.4)
- Lot coverage
- 50%; floor area ratio 1.0 (s. 11.2.5)
- Height limit
- The lesser of 9.5 m or 2 storeys; the main building up to 12.0 m or 3 storeys where the third storey is built into the roof (s. 11.2.6(e), (f))
Exceptions (1)
- The lesser of 13.8 m or 4 storeys, and a floor area ratio of 1.65, on two lots the bylaw names

- Setbacks
- Front 2.5 m, rear 6.0 m, inside sides 0.0 m, 4.5 m beside a street, for every building (s. 11.2.6)
The zone is for recreation-oriented tourist businesses at the community's destination points, on land the community plan designates Tourist Commercial (s. 11.2.1).
Short-term rental of a home isn't a use the zone lists, and the zone allows no homes: stays here are a hotel's or motel's (our reading). Ask the District before buying to rent by the night.
Sections 4 (general rules), 5 (landscaping and screening), 6 (parking and loading) and 7 (specific uses) of the bylaw also apply (s. 11.2.7(b)).
