The zone is for administrative, institutional, public service and assembly uses (s. 18.2): schools, churches, halls, care homes and government buildings (our reading). Ask the District what a lot here may be used for before you buy.

Accessory buildings for maintenance or storage need a level 3 landscape buffer, and nothing may be stored outdoors (s. 18.2).

The zone's other rules allow a cemetery and a crematorium together or apart, though neither is on its list of uses (s. 18.2): whether they are allowed is unclear, so ask the District.

Short term vacation rental isn't a listed use in P2 (s. 10.15 applies only where a zone lists it).

Sections 7 (general development rules), 8 (landscaping and fencing), 9 (parking), 10 (specific uses) and 11 (signs) also apply.

Site-specific exceptions listed in the bylaw by legal description can add or change uses for one property, and development permit areas, the ALR and building rules apply on top. Confirm with the District of Lake Country's community services department before you buy or build.
