Tremont Creek wildfire, 2021

The Tremont Creek wildfire started on July 7, 2021, caused by lightning. It was declared out on November 21, 2021. Its mapped perimeter covers 62,524 ha (625 km²): the 5th-largest of 2021's 59 large fires, and the 33rd-largest in BC since 1990. It reached Logan Lake, burning 1,727 ha there, 5% of the district municipality's land. The whole fire covered about 2 times the land area of Logan Lake.
