Blue River wildfire, 2016
The Blue River wildfire started on July 11, 2016, caused by lightning. It was declared out on November 2, 2016. Its mapped perimeter covers 4,765 ha: the 4th-largest of 2016's 4 large fires, and the 322nd-largest in BC since 1990. All of it was in Stikine Region. The nearest municipality, Northern Rockies, is roughly 350 km away; the fire covered a small fraction of the land area of it.
