Mount McAllister wildfire, 2014

The Mount McAllister wildfire started on July 13, 2014, caused by lightning. Its mapped perimeter covers 26,281 ha (263 km²): the 5th-largest of 2014's 21 large fires, and the 73rd-largest in BC since 1990. It reached Hudson's Hope, burning 1,265 ha there, 1% of the district municipality's land. The whole fire covered about 29% of the land area of Hudson's Hope.
