The zone is for public and private outdoor recreation (s. 59). Most land in it is parks and playing fields, so a lot here is rarely for sale (our reading); ask the Township what a lot here may be used for before you buy.

Screening and landscaping as s. 23 sets (s. 59(4)); parking as Parking Bylaw, 1992, No. 2011 sets, as the section still names it (s. 59(5)).

Short-term rental isn't a use this zone lists, and with no homes allowed there is none to rent (our reading; s. 59(1)).

Site-specific exceptions listed in the bylaw by legal description can add or change uses for one property, and development permit areas, the ALR and building rules apply on top. Confirm with the Township of Esquimalt's development services department before you buy or build.
