Eagle Bluff wildfire, 2023

The Eagle Bluff wildfire started on July 29, 2023. It was declared out on October 26, 2023. Its mapped perimeter covers 13,757 ha (138 km²): the 37th-largest of 2023's 119 large fires, and the 135th-largest in BC since 1990. It reached Osoyoos, burning 26 ha there, 3% of the town's land. The whole fire covered about 13 times the land area of Osoyoos.
