Momich Lake wildfire, 2009
The Momich Lake wildfire started on July 25, 2009, caused by lightning. It was declared out on October 30, 2009. Its mapped perimeter covers 1,515 ha: the 29th-largest of 2009's 32 large fires, and the 608th-largest in BC since 1990. All of it was in Thompson-Nicola, Electoral Area O (Lower North Thompson).
