Knewstubb Lake wildfire, 2006

The Knewstubb Lake wildfire started on July 2, 2006, caused by lightning. It was declared out on September 12, 2006. Its mapped perimeter covers 1,427 ha: the 17th-largest of 2006's 23 large fires, and the 625th-largest in BC since 1990. All of it was in Bulkley-Nechako, Electoral Area D.
