Dean wildfire, 2006
The Dean wildfire started on July 2, 2006, caused by lightning. It was declared out on December 19, 2006. Its mapped perimeter covers 11,119 ha (111 km²): the 2nd-largest of 2006's 23 large fires, and the 170th-largest in BC since 1990. All of it was in Cariboo, Electoral Area J.
